With the purpose of reviewing the status and the next steps for the projects under way in Guanajuato, Jorge Enrique Hernandez Meza, Secretary of Education of Guanajuato, met with Enrique Alasino and Joel Reyes, both senior specialists at the World Bank.
In addition to the timely review by the multinational organization specialized in finance and assistance, the proposal was presented for support in the design of a PLAN 2050 sector strategy and the strengthening of the Educational Trajectory System.
Since 2021, the Secretary of Education of Guanajuato has collaborated with the World Bank for the implementation of 5 projects focused on:
- The recovery of learning, abandonment, improvement of teaching practice and construction of the policy bases for initial education
The projects that are carried out in Guanajuato are the following:
- Follow-up and next steps in the implementation of the State Initial Education Program–Gto
- Early Warning System and School Permanence -SATPE-GTO- for its consolidation in Secondary and extend it to Upper Middle school
- META-GTO (Teach and Coach, World Bank-SEG)
- Support in learning assessment RIMA
- Strengthening of the educational trajectories program
For the SEG, it is extremely important to take the next step so that the amount of data available in the institution is used and this use is enhanced through the incorporation of information and communication technologies focused on the use of information and comunication base don BIG DATA and Artificial Intelligence.
Therefore, the World Bank helps the SEG through technical assistance in consolidating the education trajectories of Guanajuato students.
