Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, led the Declaration ceremony of the Association of Ibero-American Educational and Cultural Televisions –ATEI- in Guanajuato for Innovation, Science and Culture.
In this event, the CRE@TEI award ceremony was held, which is the Ibero-American Audiovisual Contest for Cultural and Scientific Dissemination.
“Today is a very important day for the cultural and scientific dissemination of Latin America. There are two reasons: First, because the media that make up the Association of Ibero-American Educational and Cultural Televisions have done a great job. And second, because today a Declaration has been signed that represents a great commitment, to spread culture and science to another level”, said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo stressed that the media that make up ATEI clearly say so in this great Declaration, “to open more spaces for the culture and arts of our native peoples. To be driving forces of the traditions of their regions”.
Rodriguez Vallejo expressed his joy that this Declaration arises precisely here in Guanajuato, because our State is par excellence a state of culture and an extraordinary historical richness.
The Governor said that it is a great opportunity for ATEI, through its alliances with international organizations, to take our great wealth to the whole world and achieve greater awareness of who we are, what we have and what this represents for humanity.
The Governor also congratulated the participants and the winners of the Ibero-American Audiovisual Contest for Cultural and Scientific Dissemination -CRE@TEI-.
Also Rodriguez recognized the work that TV4 did, for being a worthy host and for its 40-year career telling stories and bringing more Guanajuato to the world.
The President of the Association of Ibero-American Educational and Cultural Televisions, thanked the support provided by the Governor of the State for the realization of these events in Guanajuato that have the purpose of strengthening the dissemination of science and culture in the countries of Ibero-America.
The Governor awarded recognitions to the careers of journalists Cuca Dominguez, Antonio Rocha and Miguel Angel Puertolas.
