The Coordinator for the Promotion of Foreign Trade, -COFOCE-, continues to promote exports from Guanajuato.
The General Director, Luis Ernesto Rojas Avila, in the commercial mission of the construction sector in Austin, Texas; signed the Agreement between Guanajuato and Austin, represented by COFOCE and the Hispanic American Contractors Association of the United States, respectively.
The event was promoted by Alliance Importers, a company founded by Mexicans with more than 20 years of experience doing business between the United States and Mexico; the organism has played a key role, since together with COFOCE, they have managed to help Guanajuato companies find business opportunities in the United States.
The signing was held at a hotel in the city of Austin Texas, where the mayor of Austin, Kirk Preston Watson; South Texas Senator Eddie Lucio, Jr.; Victoria, Texas City Councilor Jesus A. Garza; the president of the Council of the Hispanic American Association of Contractors in the United States, Frank Fuentes and Anahi Rivera, Founder of Alliance Importers, a company that managed to link the two institutions.
From Guanajuato and present in the event were the companies Helvex, Blender Group, Prihoda, Green Holdings, CYVSE, Transformadores IG, Transformadores Buendia and Grupo RALI, which are on a trade mission to strengthen ties between the Construction sector of Guanajuato and Texas.
“It is a great privilege to be here, to sign the Agreement of the Hispanic American Association of Contractors of the United States and COFOCE, which will open commercial doors between Texas and Guanajuato,” said Frank Fuentes, president of the Council of the Hispanic American Association of Contractors in the United States.
“I want to thank you for what is about to happen today, the signing of this agreement represents a lot for both nations. The role that everyone involved in making this happen is very important to our city, committing us to continue striving to improve the quality of life for our citizens as we become a focal point of the global economy”, said Austin Mayor Kirk Preston Watson.
The signing of this agreement will provide companies in the Guanajuato construction sector with business opportunities with the United States market, specifically in Texas.
“We strongly believe that more than ever Mexico and the United States team up to work together, nearshoring and all the conditions that are happening in the global economy have put our countries in a strategic position. The relationship between the United States and Mexico has always been very close, we are the first place as allies in exports and imports and our commercial relationship continues to strengthen”, said Luis Ernesto Rojas Avila the General Director of COFOCE.
