On the first day of his work tour in Japan, Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo announced the arrival of a new Japanese company to Guanajuato.
It is Mitsui High Tech, a world-class company that will invest 130 million pesos and generate 180 new direct jobs for the people of Guanajuato.
This Japanese company will begin construction of the plant in Apaseo El Grande.
Mitsui High Tech is the leading supplier of integrated circuit frames, precision tools, motor cores, and surface grinders.
At the work meeting, directors of the Japanese company showed interest in settling in Guanajuato due to its strategic location to expand its production in America.
Currently, Mitsui High Tech has manufacturers in more than 30 countries.
“This alliance will be for the good of Guanajuato and for this great Japanese company,” said the Governor of Guanajuato.
Present at the work meeting were executives of the Japanese company Mitsui High Tec; Kazuo Narita, Executive Chairman and Takafumi Kashu, General Manager; the Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo; as well as the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development, Ramon Alfaro; and also the Consul of Japan in Leon, Katsumi Itagaki and state officials.
The Governor thanked the Ambassador of Mexico in Japan, Melba Pria, for the support and accompaniment of the Embassy in this work agenda for this country.
Governor meets with Foreign Affairs Minister of Japan
To continue strengthening friendly relations with this Asian nation, the Governor of Guanajuato met with Takei Shusunke, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan.
In the work reunion, the Governor highlighted that Japan is one of the main nations that, thanks to its close commercial and business relationship as well as culture, have contributed to Guanajuato, during the last 30 years, consolidating the economic and social development of Guanajuato in Mexico.
