The Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility -SICOM-, finished the construction of the second stage of the rowing gym of the Sports Unit of the Metropolitan Park of Leon, which was made through the agreed work program, in this case with the State Sports Commission -CODE-.
Tarcisio Rodriguez Martinez, head of SICOM, said that the second stage of this rowing gym consisted of the construction of a warehouse with the necessary conditions so that the protection of the training boats is done properly.
The State Official said that, for this work, resources were allocated for an amount of 2 million 389 thousand pesos, which promotes sports activity for the people of Guanajuato, as instructed by the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez. Vallejo.
Rodriguez explained that, for the construction of the boat hold, preliminary actions were carried out such as earth moving, as well as foundation and masonry works.
Also steel structures were placed for the placement of the roof, blacksmith works, finishes, rainwater and cleaning hydraulic systems.
Rodriguez Martinez recalled that the rowing gym is located next to the dam of the Metropolitan Park; He added that due to its equipment it is considered one of the best of its kind, not only in Mexico, but in Latin America.
This infrastructure has already been handed over to CODE so that they make the adjustments and bring the necessary equipment for its operation.
