Mindfacture not only generates technology in high industry, it also allows social development and innovation in popular neighborhoods of Guanajuato, through the generation of value services, products and processes, said Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo.
“We have achieved something incredible in Guanajuato, the Mindfacture and innovation, but on a social level. Not only have we developed this topic of the Mindfacture at the academic, business or university level, but we have managed to develop innovation nodes in popular neighborhoods through the Community Centers”, said the Governor.
“I give an example: In Las Joyas, a very marginalized neighborhood in Leon, there is a Community Center where the neighbors are recycling PET, there they have the machines that the State Government put up; they are developing plastic wood and designing furniture and today they have a small company that generates furniture”, said Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, during his participation in the Panel ‘Guanajuato, From Manufacture To Mindfacture’.
The Governor explained how Guanajuato has advanced in the transformation from manufacture to Mindfacture, coupled with the consolidation of manufacturing in the business DNA of Guanajuato, as well as in marginalized areas of the state.
During his participation in the Panel organized by ‘El Gran Bajio’, he spoke about the Biotechnology Corridor and specialized agro-business in Guanajuato and how the State has been an example in technological developments that respond to the needs of industries.
Rodriguez Vallejo explained how Guanajuato consolidated itself as a power in the automotive industry, as a result of the continuity of public policies that create trust in the State and attract investment.
