The competitiveness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises –MSMEs- is one of the priorities of the economic policy of the State Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo to strengthen the domestic market.
The head of the Secretary for Sustainable Economic Development –SDES-, Ramon Alfaro Gomez, said that adaptability towards new marketing models and current consumption habits is essential to increase sales, reactivate and recover the local economy, the survival and economic recovery of Guanajuato companies, so the adoption of digital tools has become essential to increase their competitiveness and productivity.
Currently there are more than 3,200 companies from 37 of the 46 municipalities that are offering 24,400 products on this platform from different sectors like:
- Fashion, food, health and beauty, handicrafts, home, life and style, leather goods, jewelry , decoration, pets, technology, sports, wines and spirits, toys, books, among other
The official store ‘CompraGTO’ of the Mercado Libre portal has an flow of 110,000 monthly visits and 380,000 impressions on Google, with which companies increase their exposure and presence in new markets, especially in Mexico.
This model for doing business is an excellent alternative for those companies that do not yet have a virtual store but wish to venture into internet sales.
The virtual outlet accelerates the economic recovery in Guanajuato, since more and more companies are joining this platform to continue in the promotion of the consumption of Guanajuato products.
