The State Institute of Culture is asking Guanajuatenses to share their works and objects related to the Cervantino Festival

The Institute is preparing an exhibit of works on the 50 years of the Cervantino

The State Institute of Culture through the Network of Museums and Galleries invites the general public to present objects, images and works of art with themes related to the history of the Festival Internacional Cervantino, to set up an exhibition for its 50th edition.

All residents of the State of Guanajuato can participate.

It is necessary to provide proof of address in PDF or JPEG format, participants must authorize the use of the selected piece in the communication and advertising media, with the collection credit consigned on the form; as well as signing a loan agreement for the pieces selected for temporary exhibition.

The history

Good resolution images of the proposed piece in JPEG or TIFF format must be submitted; as well as the complete data of the object, image or work of art (title, author, date and brief description).

The maximum dimension of registered works will be 1.20 m by its longest side, including the frame.

Reception of works closes on July 31, 2022, at 8:00 p.m. Pieces must be delivered to the Palacio de los Poderes Museum, located at Plaza de la Paz #77, Guanajuato, Gto.

7 month of exhibit

Results will be notified by email on August 4 of this year. Its exhibition will be from October 12 of this year, until May 12, 2023, at the Palacio de los Poderes Museum.

Participating in the call implies the firm acceptance of these bases. The State Institute of Culture and the Network of Museums and Galleries will not be liable for controversies that, on matters of copyright, arise with the exhibition of objects, digital images and works of art.
