Officials supervise the rehabilitation of the road to Nuevo Jesus del Monte

“Guanajuato is one of the best communicated States in Mexico, since more than 90 percent of the 2,800 kilometers of state highways are in good condition”, said Tarcisio Rodriguez Martinez, the State’s Secretary of Infrastructure Connectivity and Mobility –SICOM-.
Intensive work
The head of SICOM supervised the rehabilitation of the highway to Nuevo Jesus del Monte, in San Francisco del Rincón.
Rodríguez Martínez pointed out that on the instructions of the State Governor, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, intensive work is being done at SICOM to keep our State’s roads in good condition.
Better connection
The Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility, was in a work tour representating Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, and he invited students from the Ignacio Zaragoza school, located in Nuevo Jesús del Monte, to read with him the works that are being done to rehabilitate the road to the place they live in.
Investment in roads
Together they informed the present that, in the rehabilitation of this road, 7 million 392 thousand pesos will be invested; the works began on March 22 and its completion is scheduled for July 19 of this year.
Better living
They added that this rehabilitation will benefit more than 1,300 inhabitants of the community of Nuevo Jesus del Monte and just over 800 users who, on average use this road everyday.
Rodriguez Martinez and the students said that work is being done on 2.1 kilometers.
All included
They informed that as in all road maintenance works, for user safety, the renovation of horizontal and vertical signs will be included.
In the end, the construction company must also submit an environmental monitoring report.
