US Ambassador to Mexico, Ken Salazar visited Guanajuato and knew up close about the security headquarters and equipment, gear and technology Guanajuato uses to face crime in the State.
A lot to learn
“We all have a lot to learn on what is happening here in a positive manner, a lot. And we are proud on the part of the United States, on behalf of President Biden, to be here supporting this exemplary work”, said the United States Ambassador upon questions from the press after his tour of the C5i.
A good example
“The process I like here, a lot to all of us in the United States, is that we support them because we trust in them, but also I can see that the process that is ocurring here in many aspects is (that they share) the information that they collect here but it also goes to Mexico so that it is used in all the country, then it is a good example”, said Ken Salazar, the Ambassador of the United States in Mexico about the work the State General Attorney does in Guanajuato.
An important tool
After his tour the Ambassador commented about his visit on Twitter.
“I visited the offices of the @FGEGUANAJUATO, an important law enforcement tool in the fight against crime, which provides security to Guanajuato residents and thousands of U.S. citizens who live in here”, said the Ambassador in his Twitter.
A key center
Then the US Ambassador made a tour of the C5i premises. State Officials were with Ken Salazar during his tour where he knew about the security effort of Guanajuato.
“I visited the #C5i of @SeguridadGto, a key center for the State’s security that was accredited with #INLMexico support in 2021”
