The cold spell caused sleet in many high lands of the North of Guanajuato

The high lands of San Luis de La Paz and the Sierra Gorda were covered in white the morning of this Saturday February 5th.
The low temperatures caused sleet, while people stand and suffer from the cold temperatures.
Authorities of the municipalities in the North of Guanajuato are in alert to help Guanajuatenses and prevent health problems.
Officials from San Luis de La Paz informed citizens that due to the low temperatures registered on Friday night and in the early morning of Saturday many communities of this Municipality registered sleet.
Also, authorities called on civilians to take protect themselves and be cautios to avoid any accident.
