The Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato -UVEG-, through its Community Telebachilleratos, celebrated the seventh edition of the event “VIBRA UVEG 2024” in commemoration of the 17th anniversary of the Institution.
The event aims to promote healthy coexistence and integration of the education community, both, of the Community Telebachilleratos -TBC- and the administrative staff of UVEG, through activities that promote collaboration, personal development and integral well-being.
“It is always very important for us that you are well, physically and emotionally, because as long as you are well, of course the work you do with our students will be even better and for that it is also important that you take your time. Physical and emotional health is very important for us at UVEG and at the Telebachilleratos Comunitarios”, said Ricardo Narvaez Martinez, Rector of UVEG.
In this edition, the Sports Complex of Leon was the venue that welcomed 363 participants, including teachers from the TBC and UVEG staff, who enjoyed sports and artistic activities such as:
- 7-a-side football (men and women)
- Basketball (women and men)
- Volleyball (women and men)
- Physical activities
- Singing
- Oratory
- Declamation and poetry
“Here we are not going to win medals, we are going to win friendship, solidarity, we are going to win recreation, we are going to have a good time. And also, if we win the improvement of our health and the best use of our free time, we will be doing something much better for ourselves and for our communities”, said Yammir Lopez Brito, Research Manager and Master’s Coordinator at the Center for Higher Studies in Specialized Education CESSE.
Under the motto “Unity in Diversity”, “VIBRA UVEG 2024” stood out as a space to reinforce the integration of the education community in an environment of respect and camaraderie. The event was attended by participants from 37 municipalities of Guanajuato, as well as the active presence of the CESSE and the Estudiantina of the Telebachillerato Comunitario Capellania de Loera of Leon, who enlivened the day with their presentations.
UVEG staff reaffirmed the commitment to foster spaces for healthy coexistence among teachers, administrative staff and managers, promoting activities that reinforce both the physical well-being and the integral development of its community.
