Anpic announces One Stop Shop with suppliers and manufacturing processes

ANPIC, the Suppliers Fair, comes to its 62nd Edition on October 25, 26 and 27 at poliforum Leon, with the best in materials and machinery for the shoe, leather, leather-goods, textile-clothes, automotive iand leather industry.
The President of the Association of Supplying Companies of Mexico –APIMEX-, Fernando Padilla Padilla, said that this edition of ANPIC is held amid an optimistic environment for the Mexican economy,since, the International Monetary Fund –IMF- increased its growth forecast from 2.6% they had in July, to 3.2%, thanks to many factors like the money transfers from the Us to Mexico, an lesser inflation and public and oprivate investment that present a positive environment for Mexico.
Padilla said that Mexico is becoming a center of attentionin the world economic scene, and hence, no doub, it will be one of the countrie sto be benefitted by nearshoring, since, according to experts the economy will report a growth of 2.1% for the coming year.
A flow of investments to Mexico has been registered, said Padilla and added, some of them caused by the relocation of companies that are trying to come close to their final market, and that makes it important, said Padilla, top take advantage of this wave of companies that want to invest in Mexico and that need to establish here to improve their sources of supply and production.
And it is precisely because of what is happening in the world, nearshoring, the growing economy, the team work of suppliers and manufacturers is that, said Padilla Padilla, ANPIC presents the Project One Stop Shop, a pavilion within the Fair where buyers will fin dina single spot manufacturing and suppliers certified processes with export quality, all in order to accelerate the chain of supply and the processes and increase the production of shoes.
This Project is mainly directed to international shoe companies, which upon the nearshoring phenomenon demands quality suppliers that are located near the United States “and of course we have those in Guanajuato”, said Padilla.
One Stop shop will have the participation of 40 supplying and manufacturing companies offering processes like:
- Adhesives, Blake stitching, Goodyear stitching, injection and welt, for its application in shoes, furniture, hats, accesories, among other
Among the supplying companies present in the pavilion are:
- Pegafull, Ferema, Solder, Hebillas y Herrajes Finos de Leon, Cissa, Soles Aplasa, Soles Lozano, Silpa, LEFARC, Alfamex, Dimaco, Polimeros and Derivados, Concurmex, Iris, Hormas El Arbol, Shoemat, IVRA, Monaven, among other
Some manufacturers are:
- Vaqueras, Oak Footwear, VK Shoes, Comando, Lindy, Merber, Mosvarti, Animal Exotic, The Horse Style, Monteblanco and Alle
As of now the One Stop Shop pavilion has registered visits by buyers who come mainly from:
- USA, Guatemala, Colombia, El Salvador, India, Italy
Alejandro Macias, vice ppresident of ANPIC in APIMEX, said that during the 3 days of exhibits ANPIC will present:
- 800 brands
- 900 stands and
- More than 9 thousand buyers and visitors from
- 20 countries
The companies will present materials like:
- Leather, soles, textile, heels, shoelaces, ironworks, pigments, chemicals, adhesives, threads, among other
- And machinery
Also they will count with the space called Agora of Innovation, dedicated to training in processes of shoe manufacturing where they will hold conferences by specialists of the Technologic Center of Shoes INESCOP from Spain.
“For this edition we focus on training and the formation of companies tha productst can develop new, that are ready for new ways of manufacture and hence count with tools that lets them explore new markets”, said the Vice President.
ANPIC will host the second edition of the Hackathon, a design contest that this time will present multi-functional clothes, and the creation of a prototype of clothing whose function serves three times of the regular day of a woman entrepreneur:
- Casual business for the office
- Formal for a reunion or interview and
- Gala to go to a late dinner of cocktail on the same day and whose dress code is formal
The combination of these three factors should be contained in the same prototype, that is, the clothes should be in condition to be transformed to the next dress code and the model should not be in the need to completely change.
The contest will have the participation of students od the majors of Design and Administration of the Universities La Salle and Universidad de Leon, forming teams of 8 people each, and they will have to present a design, the executive clothes and the business Project, which they will work on during the three days of ANPIC and on Friday 27 the winner will be announced and the prize granted at 1pm.
Before, on Thursday October 26, ANPIC presents the Fashion Cocktail and catwalk where they will present colections by renown Mexican designers Maria Ponce, Ivan Avalos and Jesus de la Garsa, who have dressed figures like Sam Smith, Shakira, Kourtney Kardashian, Thalia, Danna Paola, Gloria Trevi, Black Pink, among other.
Ale Gutierrez, Mayor of León, noted the impact of ANPIC in Leon and said that during the three days of the expo they are expecting spending by visitors for 23 million pesos in the City, plus 240 million pesos in sales for transactions in the event.
