The President of CONCAMIN, Jose Abugaber Andonie, pointed out that 2023 will be a complex year in political, economic and electoral matters, but given the challenges that the country will face, it is necessary to work in unity.
He stressed that in economic matters there are analysts who foresee an economic recession in several countries around the world, which could affect the Mexican economy. Therefore, he stressed that industrialists will continue working for the well-being of families.
In electoral matters, he recalled that the 2024 electoral process begins in September, and after the process the President of the Republic will be elected; 8 governors, including that of Guanajuato, and head of government of Mexico City, plus 500 federal representatives and 128 senators, among many other positions of popular election.
“In 2023 and 2024 political polarization will increase. The country will be divided between those who hold Federal power and want to keep it and those who seek to advance to win, in 2024, the Presidency of the Republic”, said the president of CONCAMIN.
Abugaber noted that the first thing that must be considered, despite the political differences, is that we are all Mexicans, and together we must move our country forward.
Abugaber Andonie said that the federated industry must remain united and focused on its objective: to generate well-being for Mexican families.
He recognized that although CONCAMIN is not alien to the political and electoral processes of our country, the industrialists’ priority is to create the conditions for our country to have a stronger economy.
“We do not do politics, we create jobs and well-being for Mexicans. We are aware that working in this direction contributes to political and economic stability”, said Abugaber.
